Please book your ticket in advance and follow government guidance when you visit. Click below to find out what facilities are open for your visit.

What's open?

To open safely, we’re limiting visitor numbers. To avoid disappointment, please book your visit in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends and bank holidays.

Please arrive within your 30-minute timeslot. You’re then welcome to stay until closing time.

Current Offering (Until 19 May)

Open for your visit this week: Grounds, gardens and Bund walk open with a one-way route in place. Play areas including Childe of Hale trail. Toilets (including one accessible) at Home Farm. Restaurant: outdoor seating and takeaways available.

Currently closed: Hall, shop, maze, and Coastal Reserve walk.

Offering 19 May onwards (subject to government guidance)

Open for your visit: Grounds, gardens and Bund walk open with a one-way route in place. Play areas including Childe of Hale trail. Toilets (including one accessible) at Home Farm. Restaurant: indoor and outdoor seating and takeaways available. Hall open Wed-Sun 12.30-5pm (last entry 4.30pm). Entry will be on a first come, first served basis and is likely to involve some queueing. Due to social distancing guidelines, only the ground floor will be open.

Closed: Maze, Coastal Reserve walk and Dairy Courtyard toilets.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.

Only balance bikes and small bikes with stabilisers are permitted.

Please note:

  • Please book one ticket per person. Children under 5 don’t need a ticket. Please bring your membership card to show on arrival.
  • Please follow government guidance on travel. Face coverings are required in indoor spaces, unless you’re exempt, so please bring one with you.
  • Members park free but non-members will need to pay where there are pay machines. Campervans are welcome but not permitted to stay overnight and we're unable to welcome caravans at this time
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your timeslot, we can’t guarantee you entry. Entry will be at the discretion of the property staff based on visitor numbers.
  • Check the property website before you travel to see which facilities are open for your visit.
  • Tickets are for your use and cannot be resold.
  • Accessible parking available. One accessible toilet at Home Farm. Please see access tab on homepage for full access statement including map.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Non-member family (2 adult max 3 children) £12.50 Family ticket admits 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 5-17 (under-5s don’t need a ticket). 0 1 max
  • Non-member family (1 adult max 3 children) from £7.50 to £15.00 Family ticket admits 1 adult and up to 3 children aged 5-17 (under-5s don’t need a ticket). 0 1 max
  • Essential Companion or Carer Free Please book a complimentary ticket for an essential companion/carer, accompanying a disabled visitor. 0 2 max
