Snowshill Manor and Garden

Please book your ticket in advance and follow government guidance when you visit. Click below to find out what facilities are open for your visit.

If you would like to visit the manor, you must pre-book. Spaces are limited to ensure social distancing. If you would like a garden-only visit, you do not have to pre-book.  

The time on your pre-booked ticket is for your arrival time at the manor front door. There is a 10-15 minute hilly walk to the manor. Please allow additional time to check in at the visitor reception before making your way to the manor. If you arrive less than 30 minutes before your entrance to the manor, entry will be at the discretion of the property team.

Open for your visit this week: Manor open 11.30am – 4.30pm (last entry by 4pm). If you would like to visit the manor during your visit you must pre-book. Spaces are limited to ensure social distancing. Due to current government guidance on social distancing, to keep everyone safe only limited rooms will be open.  If you would like a garden only-visit, you do not have to pre-book. Please note, we may be busier during school holidays and on weekends.  

Garden, shop, second-hand bookshop and café. Café open for hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes and light bites until 4.30pm (hot snacks available from 12-2pm).  Toilets by the visitor reception and café are also open. 

Currently closed: The Priest's House is closed at this current point in time

Assistance dogs only in the grounds and garden.

Please note:

  • Please book one ticket per person. Children under 5 don’t need a ticket. Please bring your membership card to show on arrival.
  • Please follow government guidance when you visit. Face coverings are required in indoor spaces, unless you’re exempt, so please bring one with you.
  • Members park free but non-members will need to pay where there are pay machines. Campervans are welcome but not permitted to stay overnight and we're unable to welcome caravans at this time
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your timeslot, we can’t guarantee you entry. Entry will be at the discretion of the property staff based on visitor numbers.
  • Check the property website before you travel to see which facilities are open for your visit.
  • Tickets are for your use and cannot be resold.
  • We have designated disabled parking in the main car park by the visitor reception building.
  • The garden is a 500 yard hilly walk from reception. Accessible toilets available near reception and café. Garden - Undulating paths and some steep slopes. Garden is terraced with many steps. For more detailed access information please see the Facilities section of the website.

  • Essential Companion or Carer Free Please book a complimentary ticket for an essential companion/carer, accompanying a disabled visitor. 0 2 max
