Explorers: Meet the Lambs
A family-friendly walk, which will take youngsters to meet the new inhabitants of a local farm
One of our Explorer Walks for families, which are held on the first Sunday of the month. On this walk we will visit to a local farm and meet orphaned lambs. Find out how the farmers look after them and how you can help the sheep out on the moor.
Distance: 2 miles/ 2 hours approx.
Spaces are capped to 40 people so please do book to avoid disappointment.
Please Note:
- Please meet at the Marsden Moor Office (HD7 6DH).
- Please bring appropriate clothes and sturdy footwear.
- Children accompanied by adults are welcome at this event.
- Please do not bring dogs on this walk.
- Booking is essential, tickets are free but a £3 donation paid in cash on the day is welcome.
- Please note, there is a risk to pregnant women if they come into close contact with ewes during lambing season. This event is not suitable for pregnant women.
