Join us for a stroll around the grounds on a guided tour of the beautiful Ilam Park, unveiling the history hidden therein.
We grade our guided walks A, B or C depending on how challenging the walk will be. This walk is graded A - a short walk on relatively flat ground.

From the construction of Ilam Hall, to its demolition in the 1930s, our experienced and knowledgeable guide will take you on a journey through the centuries, as you walk in the footsteps of those who shaped Ilam's history.
From the stunning Italian Gardens to the beautiful surrounding parkland, this is your chance to take in the spectacular views and learn about what makes Ilam such a special place.

This event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non members. All money raised goes straight back into looking after the White Peak.
Please note:
- Meet in the stableyard, where you will also find directions our Manifold Tearoom and the toilets.
- Wear sturdy shoes and come prepared for the weather, that might be sunhats or raincoats.
- Route involves some slopes, and there are some steps in the Manifold Tearoom. The walk will run along our orange route and onto our accessible path.
- Event suitable for adults and teenagers.
- There is no admission charge for entry to Ilam Park and for our guided walks your car parking is included in the price of the ticket.
