Murder Mystery Night at Ormesby Hall - Murder is Frightful
On Saturday 5 October, in partnership with Tall Tales Mysteries, Ormesby Hall plays host to 'Murder is Frightful'.
You are invited to spend the night in a haunted house…if you dare. Wealthy recluse Madden Batty was found dead on the doorstep of her home, Haunts Hill House. Your invitation offers you a chance to share in her inheritance but not everything is as it seems, and you’ll soon be investigating a murder.
You’ll join Tall Tales Mysteries in the marquee in the grounds of Ormesby Hall. Then you’ll be taken in your teams around the mansion, as you become detectives to help solve the murder!
This is a night out not to be missed and perfect to enjoy with family and friends, with tickets including a 2-course meal.
Please note:
- Please arrive at the visitor entrance in the visitor car park, off Ladgate Lane (TS3 0SR). You will be guided from there.
- The evening begins with a 7pm arrival for a 7.30pm start.
- Please be aware that the event marquee will be heated if required and as a historic house Ormesby Hall can be chilly, so please dress appropriately.
- The marquee and house have ramp access, with the first floor of the house accessed by stairs only.
- The event minimum age requirement is 16+ years. Any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ years.
- The ticket price includes the Tall Tales murder mystery and a 2-course meal from the National Trust Food and Beverage team, as well as tea and coffee.
- The main meal options are Chicken, Bacon and Tarragon Stew or a vegan and gluten free option of Squash and Butterbean Stew. Both are served with chunky sourdough bread.
- Dessert is Homemade Apple Crumble served with custard or Vegan pouring cream alternative.
- Please note that although gluten and nuts won’t be used as ingredients in the meals, they are prepared in a kitchen that does handle gluten and nuts. A full allergens list will be available at the event.
- There will be a pay for bar at the marquee, but please note drinks from the bar are not included in the ticket price.
- Only drinks purchased from the onsite bar can be consumed at the event.
