Yoga in the Dahlia Garden
To celebrate the opening of the stunning Dahlia Garden, join Beth from Wheel Coaching for a rejuvenating yoga class in the Gardens.
This event has now sold out.
See Anglesey Abbey from a new angle this summer and enjoy the peace, tranquillity and colour of the stunning Dahlia Garden that is home to over 50 varieties of dahlias.
Beth will guide you through a 45-minute Hatha Flow yoga sequence in celebration of summer, incorporating breath work, meditation, yoga postures, and deep relaxation. All abilities are welcome, and tickets include a complementary tea or coffee to enjoy afterwards, as well as a small posy of dahlias to take home with you. Please note that yoga mats will be provided.
Beth is a Senior Registered Yoga Teacher and Professional Coach with over 15 years’ experience in the well-being space, and is certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Hot Yoga, Yoga for Children & Teenagers, Therapeutic Yoga, and Yoga Medicine.
Please note that NT member tickets will include the yoga session, hot drink and posy. Non-member tickets will include admission for the day, yoga session, a hot drink and posy.
Please arrive promptly for your yoga session. Please arrive at the Visitor Centre no later than 8:45am. We cannot guarantee late entry due to the nature of the event.
This event is outdoors. In the unfortunate event of bad weather, this event will be moved into the Lower Gallery of the House. You will then be shown the herbaceous and dahlia gardens after your yoga session.
If you'd like to do yoga in the Herbaceous Garden, please see here for more details.
Please note:
- Head to the Visitor Centre where you will be greeted and directed to the Dahlia Garden. Please arrive promptly to ensure you reach the Garden in time for the start of the session.
- Exercise clothing is advised, and please do bring water and sun cream! Yoga mats will be provided.
- For accessibility enquiries, please contact us on angleseyabbeyevents@nationaltrust.org.uk and we will pass the query onto the event facilitator. The route to reach the dahlia garden will involve some steep sections of path, as well as grassy areas.
- This event is aimed at adults. Suitable for 16+.
