Spook-tacular Stories: Tales of the Rotunda
Join us this October half term for some spooky storytelling in the Basement.
This special event will take place in East Corridor of the Basement where our volunteers will take you on a spooky storytelling journey. This event is suitable for children from 5-10 years old. Get ready for tales of bats, bugs, and haunted housemaids! The story session will begin at 10:30, please arrive early and make your way to the front of the Rotunda where your storytelling guide will meet you and check your tickets. The session will last around 45 minutes.
The stories told during the session are not intended to be overly scary for children, but they will have spooky themes, so we encourage that guardians of attending children to be mindful of this when booking tickets for the event. Pre-booking is essential, under 5s go free but will need a ticket.

Please note:
- Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet outside the front of the Rotunda.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the event starts.
- The House can be cold so wear appropriate clothing.
- Basement is accessible to wheelchair users via the lift located in the Entrance Hall.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, suitable for children 5-10. Under 5's go free and can attend this event but will need a under 5 ticket.
