First Light Photography at Kingston Lacy

Capture the beauty of winter at Kingston Lacy with our First Light Photography sessions. Frost-covered gardens and blooming snowdrops make for breath-taking photos. Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 February from 8am.

Join us for early access to the stunning gardens at the break of dawn, where you can photography frosty landscapes and delicate snowdrops in serene tranquil settings. 

Capture the winter magic on 1 and 2 February from 8am. 
£10 per person.

You will be able to freely wander the gardens to get your perfect picture of the carpets of snowdrops
These sessions provide a limited number of places for amateur photographers before we open to the public.
Please be aware that normal admission applies as well as the ticket cost for this event, which is £10.

These sessions are ideal for amateur photographers. Whilst we welcome all photographers at Kingston Lacy, commercial photography requires a licence which can be arranged through our images office. Please contact: images@nationaltrust.org.uk for details.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please wait at Visitor Reception, our temporary tipi structure. You will be met by a member of staff to let you in. 
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time to allow the event to start promptly.
  • Please dress appropriately for the time of year and wear suitable footwear for gardens and parkland.
  • This session includes grass and gravel paths, some of which may not be suitable for all mobility aids. If you would like to attend and would like to discuss your access requirements, please call 01202 883402.
  • This event is not suitable for children.
  • We welcome you to take photographs, record films for personal use only. Personal use is defined as being for personal enjoyment and for sharing with friends and family. This doesn't include selling or distributing images in any way for publication, electronically or in print. Any requests from individuals who wish to sell or publish photographs taken at our places or on our land, including of our collections and archives, should all be directed to images@nationaltrust.org.uk
