From those who sought to keep sailors safe and protect them from shipwreck to those seeking to improve the lot of the agricultural labourers and to the shepherds tending their flocks.
Please note:
- Meet outside the Birling Gap Café where our friendly guides will greet you. Please have your booking confirmation ready to show.
- The weather can be extreme on the Seven Sisters so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Ensure you bring water and sunscreen.
- Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead.
- There is uneven and hilly terrain throughout the walk. The walk is approximately 4 miles long. Suitable for the moderately fit. There are grazing animals along the walk.
- Suitable for children aged 12+ accompanied by an adult.
- The walk starts at Birling Gap. Consider car sharing. The coastal bus 13X runs on a Sunday with stops directly outside Birling Gap.
