Ranger Walk-Walk the Bridleways-The Great Big Green Week

With over 26km of bridleways across the Killerton Estate, there are many routes to choose from for riders and cyclists.  

Join Area Ranger, Griselda, and explore some of these paths in Ashclyst Forest.

Learn about access across the whole estate and the different ways in which we are improving it. With a chance to take in the sights and sounds of the forest on the way round. 

This walk is approximately 3miles/5km, appr. 2 hours 

Terrain: Uneven tracks and steep terrain in places.

Children accompanied by an adult welcome.

Dogs on a lead are welcome.

This walk is free of charge but booking is essential. 

A National Trust membership is not needed to take part in this walk.

  • Meeting at 10am in Forest Gate Car Park, Ashclyst Forest.
  • Please wear waterproof walking boots or shoes and dress for the weather.
  • There are no facilities in Ashclyst Forest. Nearest facilities at Killerton main site.
  • Children accompanied by an adult, are welcome.
