Please note: 

Tours take 1 hour. The tour is an active, largely outdoor experience with steep steps (some handrailed) on the tour route. There are steps of differing height with some muddy areas.

For safety reasons no carried children or children under 1 metre tall (usually around 5 years of age) are permitted underground.  Dogs are not permitted in this dark mine.

Please note: 

This guided underground tour of a dark drift mine takes 30 mins.  Please arrive 15 min before your tour time to allow for kitting up and health & Safety briefing

The tour is into a level mine working, with no steps, and is suitable for those with limited mobility and some types of wheeled chairs and walking aids.

You will be required to wear a hard hat (supplied) underground and stout, enclosed footwear is essential. 

For safety reasons no carried children or children under 1 metre tall (usually around 5 years of age) are permitted underground.

No dogs are allowed on the tour
