Brownsea Island - Sandbanks Jetty Boat Service

Join the crew aboard the Brownsea Enterprise as we take in unrivalled views of the Purbeck Hills and Sandbanks peninsula coastline, on our journey to the island.
Tickets are limited and only available to purchase in advance online - please book early to avoid disappointment.
The Enterprise is an open topped boat with no facilities on board and the crossing takes approximately 10 minutes.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the time on your ticket to board your ferry. The time on your ticket indicates the time of departure and the vessel will leave promptly.
- Visitors arriving via the 10:00 service must depart on the 13:20 service.
- Visitors arriving via the 10:30 service must depart on the 14:20 service.
- Visitors arriving via the 11:00 service must depart on the 14:50 service.
- Visitors arriving via the 12:00 service must depart on the 15:50 service.
To avoid queueing on arrival at Brownsea Island, membership cards will be scanned on the boat. Please bring your membership card with you and have it ready for scanning.
Please be aware that the Brownsea Enterprise is a small boat and can be difficult to access if you have limited mobility. If you have mobility issues you are strongly advised to use our alternative services.
Sandbanks Service Terms and Conditions
The Brownsea Enterprise is a small passenger vessel which is accessed via landing jetties with steep steps and varying tidal conditions. We strongly recommend that passengers with restricted mobility use the walk-on service from Poole Quay, and those with wheelchairs or mobility scooters pre-book our accessible vessel, the Brownsea Seahorse.
Owing to limited space on board please do not bring pushchairs or large bags. All-terrain pushchairs are available to hire free of charge by calling 01202 707744. If you wish to bring you own pushchair, or large bags, please use the ferry from Poole Quay.
