Early bird walk and breakfast

Dorset Wildlife Trust and the National Trust have partnered to offer you an opportunity to enjoy the island and its wildlife before the crowds arrive.

A ranger from the Dorset Wildlife Trust team will lead you on a wander around the island, lakes and lagoon.
Experience the peace and tranquillity of the island and listen out for the sounds of the unique wildlife as they busy about their day.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious breakfast roll and hot beverage in our harbour fronted café before heading back on the National Trust boat to Sandbanks.

For any visitors already staying on the island and wishing to attend the event (e.g. campsite guests), please contact the Brownsea Island office at brownseaisland@nationaltrust.org.uk for additional information before booking.

Please note:

  • Bring sensible outdoor clothing and footwear.
  • Unfortunately there's no wheelchair access on this boat.
