Kingston Lacy social walks

Discover the ever changing Kingston Lacy woodlands and countryside and have the opportunity to meet new people on these gentle strolls, ranging from 3-4 miles (around 1.5 hours).

These gentle, social walks are the perfect way to meet new people, explore beautiful walking routes, and build your confidence enjoying the countryside. Designed to be relaxed and friendly, each walk ends at the Kingston Lacy café, where you're welcome to stay for a drink and a slice of cake with your fellow walkers (refreshments not included). Whether you're new to walking or simply looking for a sociable way to get outdoors, these walks offer a welcoming and enjoyable experience.

Distance: 3 - 4 miles. Time: approx. 1.5 hours.

  • Meet at Kingston Lacy Visitor Reception.
  • Please wear appropriate stout walking shoes and clothing for the weather conditions. We recommend bringing water and any food you may require. Ground can be wet and muddy following rain.
  • The walk will cross various ground conditions and may be muddy following rain. Walks open to National Trust members and non-members. Walk not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters and walks may include stiles.
  • Only assistance dogs can be welcomed on these walks.
