Walk with the Ranger
Join one of our ramgers for an hour and a half guided walk exploring the rich and varied wildlife at Dunwich Heath.
If you’ve ever wondered how we look after the precious lowland heath and other habitats at Dunwich Heath, here’s your opportunity to find out! Take a walk with one of our rangers to discover more about this special coastal landscape and the unique plant and animal species which thrive in this increasingly rare habitat.
Please note:
- Parking fee not included in ticket price. Non-members, please purchase a parking ticket on arrival. Members, please scan your cards.
- Please meet at Heath Barn, opposite the Coastguard Cottages.
- Please dress suitably for the weather conditions on the day. Sturdy footwear is also advisable as some paths are uneven. If you have your own binoculars please do bring them along!
- Accessible to all, but please note that this outdoor activity will take place on mixed terrain. An off-road mobility scooter is available to hire, but please book this in advance.
- Older children welcome, as we will be walking approximately two miles.
