Forest Bathing - Hatfield Forest

Shinrin Yoku, or Forest Bathing, is the Japanese practice of spending time in a woodland environment to improve health and wellbeing through gentle activities that reawaken the senses and our connection to nature.

In your Forest Bathing session, you will be invited to make a conscious decision to slow down and disconnect from the ever-increasing digital world. You will be guided through a range of activities including mindful walking, focused attention and connecting with nature: no swimsuit or water required! it isn't a hike but a gentle walk, there are no set goals, just curiosity, awareness and letting yourself be open to experiencing the awe and wonder of being in the outdoors and immersing yourself in the environment around you.

If you're joining us on the 30th May for our evening session, please make sure to bring a torch, a blanket, insect repellent and perhaps extra layers to keep you warm!

Please note:

  • Meet at the Lake Area.
