Rag rug craft workshops
Join us for a guided craft session at the Rock Houses. Using the rag rug technique, you'll make your very own rug or wreath to take home. All materials are included plus a hot drink and delicious piece of cake.
Rag rugging was a very important skill for the people that lived at the Rock Houses. Nothing was wasted, all scrap materials were put to good use. Join us for this guided craft session and learn the skills to make your own rug or wreath. All materials are included.

Please note:
- The property will not be open during the Rag Rug workshop - ticket holders will not be able to visit the Rock Houses.
- Meet a member of the team at Compton Road, near the orientation board.
- This activity takes place indoors but please wear warm, comfy clothes.
- There are lots of steep steps and slopes at the Rock Houses.
- Suitable for people aged over 16.
