Cragside Behind the Scenes Conservation Tour
Join the team for a sneak peek behind the scenes at the House. Explore the servants quarters as you climb the narrow stairs, discover what life was like for the staff at Cragside and find out how we use what were their bedrooms today.
A member of the team will show you how we look after the vast collection at the House, from tiny
shells to giant fireplaces and everything in between.
You'll also get a look behind the closed doors, and discover what life was like as a servant.
Please note:
- Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet a member of the team at the entrance to the House.Please arrive for the tour 5 minutes before the start time.
- Please wear comfortable shoes.
- This tour includes six flights of stairs. There are breaks on each floor as part of the tour.
- This tour is not suitable for children under 10 years old.
