Second World War Walk

Discover Coleshill's hidden Second World War history on this informative walk through village, woods and parkland at the home of the British Resistance.

Coleshill House was the hush hush headquarters of Churchill's secret army, or the Auxiliers. Discover the detailed history of their training and visit some of the remaining Second World War features around the village, including the Guard House. Plus, check out our newly built and refurbished replica Operational Base.

Please note:

  • Meet at Visitor Reception at, Coleshill Model Farm, in the main car park.
  • Wear sensible walking shoes and appropriate clothing for walking in.
  • The walk is roughly 1 ½ miles. There is slightly uneven terrain and the route is slightly uphill.
  • Children are welcome. Unsuitable for children under the age of 7.
