Summer Evening Jazz
The Great Central Big Band are back at Upton this summer. Join us on the lawn for an evening of music from the classic era of swing.
The Great Central Big Band will perform a selection of hits from the swing era, with some classic songs you're sure to recognise. The concert is open air on the lawn at Upton. Bring a picnic and a blanket and get ready to sing along!
Tickets booked online in advance: Adult £18:50, Child £11:50, Family £50
On the night at the venue: Adult £20:50, Child £12:50 Family £52
Please note:
- Enter via Visitor Reception and at the end of the long driveway, follow the directions to the gardens. The performance takes place on the south lawn at the back of the house.
- This is an open-air performance and will go ahead whatever the weather, unless it's unsafe to do so. Please dress for the weather and bring foldaway chairs and picnic blankets.
- There is level access to the main lawn. The buggy will be available to bring visitors down to the main property from the car park. Please ask the Visitor Welcome team if you wish to park in the disabled spaces close to the garden entrance.
- Children are welcome, supervised by parent/guardian.
- Upton House and Gardens closes at 5pm and the grounds have to be cleared. The gates for the outdoor theatre will reopen from 5.30pm.
- As there is no seating available on the south lawn, we recommend that you bring a picnic blanket to sit on. You're also welcome to bring your own folding camping chairs. No gazebos please.
