Pond dipping at Wicken Fen
Delve into the watery world of Wicken Fen to find out what is living beneath the surface. All equipment provided, plus a helping hand to identify the creatures that you find.
Bookable sessions at 10:30, 11:45, 13:30 and 14:45 on Thursday 17th April, Tuesday 27th May and Wednesday 28th May.
Please note:
- Check in at the Visitor Centre a few minutes before the start of your session.
- Leave your best clothes at home and dress for the weather, with sunhats or waterproofs as necessary. Long sleeves and trousers/leggings strongly recommended to provide protection from insects and sun.
- We will be using grassy areas and unsurfaced paths that may not be suitable for wheelchairs or certain pushchairs.
- Assistance dogs only.
- Children aged 5+. Must be accompanied by an adult.
- No admission charge for non-members, but £3.20 car park charge applies. Members are asked to bring their membership cards for scanning. If you are trying to book on the day of the event, please call the Visitor Centre on 01353 720274 to check if spaces are available.
- Event tickets non-refundable, cannot be transferred to another date or time unless event cancelled.
