Butterfly Safari
Calling all kids! It's the season of butterflies and moths!
Portstewart Strand is home to 18 different species of butterfly and moths and is among the top 3 locations in NI for finding some of these unique species. Fun for all the family as you join our team on the hunt to catch and identify our fluttering residents.
This event is part of The Red Sails Festival 2026.

- Please meet at Portstewart Strand post 10 ( on the beach).
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes.
- The walk will involve uneven surfaces.
- This is a family friendly event.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk starts.
- Parking Free for the participants booked for the event.
