Great Big Green Week: Bird Watching Sat 7 June, 11am-12:30pm

Join Jean, an avid birder, plus a long-time volunteer at Morden Hall Park, on a walking tour. How many birds will you spot?

Put on your walking boots, grab your binoculars and sharpen your hearing in a search for birds that hang around our park in Spring and Summer.

Morden's feathered residents include kingfisher, chiffchaff, reed warbler and blackcap, plus many woodland birds and waterfowl.

Meet in the Stableyard. Bring binoculars and walking shoes. Ages 14 & up. Walking pace is slow. 

Limit of 16 per walk

Booking Essential

Please note:

  • Meet in the Stableyard.
  • The event will take place outside, please dress appropriately for the weather. Bring binoculars if you have some – if not, we will have some pairs if you would like to borrow.
  • Route is fully accessible. Please see the access page on our website for our full access statement.
  • The walk follows hard-surfaced paths and likely a wooden boardwalk. Parking incl disabled available in the Garden Centre car park, a short walk to/from the Stableyard. Disabled toilets in Snuff Mill.
  • Only assistance dogs.
  • Suitable for 14+.
