Summer Solstice Walk

Rise with the skylark and join us at first light for a bracing dawn stroll along the legendary Causeway cliffs on Sunday 22 June!

June opens the doors to summer, and what better way to welcome the new season and the brighter days ahead than with an early morning ramble along the Causeway cliffs!

On Sunday 22 June at 6:30am, venture off with Nature Engagement Officer, Dr Cliff Henry, who will point out some of the incredible creatures that call Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site their home. Discover nesting fulmars at close range, watch gannets dive for their breakfast and listen to the majestic sound of skylarks serenading you on your adventure.

If you're lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of a speedy stoat clambering over the columns or spot a common lizard soaking up the sun; all whilst learning about the beautiful collection of wildflowers along the cliff slopes.

Finish off the morning with a delicious, top-notch breakfast in the Causeway Hotel at 9am, and be sure to explore the Visitor Centre before heading home. Explore the exhibition and interpretation area, browse our retail area and pick up a sweet treat within the café.

Spaces on this event are limited and pre-booking is essential.
