Join the team on a guided walk of Calke's Limeyards to learn all about its past, present, and future.
Hear all about the Limeyards archaeological and industrial heritage. Learn how its developed over the years into what we have now, how we look after it, and what we hope its future might look like.
We’ll also be keeping an eye out for butterflies along the way as the route follows our butterfly transect.
Please note:
- Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet at Calke Explore.
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, including waterproofs if weather appropriate. Bring refreshments if needed and plenty of water.
- This walk will cover some uneven ground and traverse steps. Unfortunately, it isn't suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
