Guided Walk to Panorama Tower 2026

Join us for a 5 mile guided walk through the parkland to the Panorama Tower and enjoy fantastic panoramic views from the balcony before continuing back to the Visitor Centre.

Meet at 10.30am at reception for a 11am start - The walk nominally finishes at 1.30pm but may extend to 2pm.

On arrival at the Panorama Tower we will stop for up to 45 minutes to enjoy the far reaching views and have some lunch.  We recommend you bring something to eat and a hot or cold drink depending on the weather. 

The walk is about 5 miles over varied terrain and includes two flights of steps. 

Please note that there are no toilet facilities or café en-route or at the Panorama Tower.

The walk is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. No dogs permitted on this walk.

Walk will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.

Please note:

  • Meet at Visitor Reception.
  • Wear suitable footwear and weather proof clothes.
  • Please bring snacks, drinks and lunch if you wish for the 45 minute stop at the Panorama Tower.
  • Walk is approx. 5 miles across fields with stiles and 2 flights of steps.   Spiral staircase at the tower.
  • Suitable for children who are happy to walk 5 miles.
  • In bad weather please check website or social media for changes in opening times.
