Nostell Nature Retreat with The Conscious Self
Take time out to relax and connect with nature at our late summer nature retreat, set in beautiful ancient woodland.
Join us for a soulful, immersive day in nature, where we'll reconnect with the breath, our bodies, and each other. Set against the serene backdrop of Engine Wood, this is your opportunity to decompress, and absorb the revitalising energy of summer.
Guided by experienced facilitators, we’ll begin with a mindful walk through the forest, allowing our senses to awaken as we journey to a peaceful clearing. Here, we’ll lay down our mats and create a sacred space to connect with ourselves and the world around us.
Through gentle yoga, breathwork, and an unforgettable sound bath, we’ll hold space for you to find peace, calm, and deep stillness. Let nature’s rhythms guide you back to balance.
Forest Bathing – Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the woods.
Nature Meditation – Tune into the sights, sounds, and scents around you.
Breathwork – Discover techniques to calm the mind and centre your spirit.
Sound Bath – Be enveloped by soothing sounds for deep relaxation.
Gentle Movement – Flow through restorative yoga to release tension.
A continental breakfast will be provided, with fruit and juices to nourish your body.
Please bring your own mat and bring multiple comfortable layers to stay cosy throughout the experience. Even on a warm day, it can feel cool under the trees.
The facilitated session may finish by 1pm (we always keep this flexible) but you are welcome to stay and connect with others or just relax until 1:30pm.
Please note:
- Please meet in the main car park area.
- Please wear footwear suitable for walking in the outdoors and waterproof clothing as this event will still take place in inclement weather. Please bring a mat if you have one.
- Please be aware that there is some uneven ground on the route and there is a short walk to the clearing. You will be seated on the floor for most of the event - please bring a camping chair if this is more comfortable for you. Toilets are located in the stables courtyard which is a 20 minute walk. A buggy can be arranged. Any questions around accessibility, please contact us.
- The Nostell Nature Retreats are not suitable for children.
- Dogs are not permitted as part of this event.
