Father Christmas at the Fen
Ho ho ho! Bookings for Christmas at the Fen are now open!
Enjoy a traditional festive experience with your little ones in the charming Fen Cottage at Wicken Fen. Join the Elves to make a Christmas craft, then head over to Fen Cottage to meet Father Christmas and receive a present.
NEW for 2025: Drop into our family games-station, where you can play a Christmas board game and transform yourself into an Elf for a fantastic photo opportunity. This event is very popular and always sells out quickly. Tickets are £14.50 per child.
While you are here, why not wrap up warm head outdoors to experience our Winter Trail? Normal admission applies for non-members. Access to the Winter Trail may be suspended if routes are closed due to frosty weather.
Please note:
- Check in with our team of Elves at the Visitor Centre.
- It will be cosy inside Fen Cottage with Father Christmas, but you may want waterproof coats and shoes to make your way there. Christmas jumpers and hats are definitely welcome!
- Fen Cottage is a very small space with an uneven floor. We ask you to leave pushchairs and wheelchairs outside if possible, but please let us know if that is not possible. Assistance dogs are welcome in Fen Cottage - please leave other dogs at home.
- All ages welcome.
- Please be aware there is a car park charge of £3.20 (please bring coins) to pay on the day for non-members. The café will be open every day, with a selection of warming drinks and festive treats, as well as a variety of lunch options.
