First Light Photography

Join us for the magic of golden hour at Stourhead this autumn with our first light photographers’ sessions.

Arrive before our normal opening, and capture the garden at sunrise. 

Please note that these sessions are ideal for amateur photographers. Whilst we welcome all photographers at Stourhead, commercial photography requires a license which can be arranged through our press office. Please contact: filmoffice@nationaltrust.org.uk for details and to book a commercial shoot.

Capture the season of autumnal mists, fiery leaves and golden light with special early morning access into the garden. These sessions provide a limited number of places for amateur photographers before the garden opens to the public.

Please note:

  • Normal admission applies as well as the ticket for this event, which is £10.
  • Arrive at the lakeside garden entrance.
  • Please bring a camera and wear season/weather appropriate clothing.
  • You're able to book a tramper/wheelchair as normal. Please see our website for details.
  • This event is not suitable for children.
