Storytime with Father Christmas at Stourhead
Join us for a magical storytime experience with Father Christmas in his cosy grotto, discover games in the festive Stableyard and crafting in the elves workshop.
Be welcomed into the grotto beneath Stourhead house for a special meeting with Father Christmas.
Listen to an enchanting story told by the man himself, get the chance to meet him, and head home with an early Christmas gift!
Please arrive outside the house at the time indicated on your ticket and allow approximately 10 minutes to walk from the main visitor car park. Stableyard games and crafting activities are available throughout the day from 10.30am to 3pm. The storytime session is suitable for children aged 3 and up.
Due to space in Father Christmas's grotto, we can only admit one adult per child to the story time part of the session.

- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival. Tickets for this event do not include entry to the house and garden. To visit the house and garden, please show a valid membership or purchase a day ticket from visitor reception.
- Meet outside Stourhead house at the time of your ticket.
- Please wear season/weather appropriate outdoor shoes and clothes
- Wheelchairs and trampers can be accommodated, please book these as normal with the property.
- Suitable for children ages 3+
