Storytime with Father Christmas - Stourhead
Join us for a magical storytime experience with Father Christmas in his cosy grotto, discover games in the festive Stableyard and crafting in the elves workshop.
Be welcomed into the grotto beneath Stourhead house for a special meeting with Father Christmas.
Listen to an enchanting story told by the man himself, get the chance to meet him, and head home with an early Christmas gift!
Stableyard games and crafting activities are available throughout the day from 10.30am to 3pm.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please arrive outside the house at the time indicated on your ticket and allow approximately 10 minutes to walk from the main visitor car park.
- Please wear comfortable warm clothes.
- The grotto has level access. Please get in touch if you have any access requirements, we'd love to work with you to ensure you and your family are able to have the best possible experience.
- Suitable for children aged 3 and up.
- Due to space in Father Christmas's grotto, we can only admit one adult per child to the story time part of the session.
- Please note that Stourhead closes at 3pm. The last session of the day will finish after Stourhead is closed and there will be no access to the house or garden after this session.
- Ticket does not include entrance to Stourhead house and garden.
