The rout of the Cornish
A guided walk with lots of little known historical facts about the countryside around Guildford
Starting at Dapdune Wharf, this walk goes up the Mount and follows the Hog’s Back track to the A31, then descends the hill to the south, turning right at the bottom for Watts Gallery and refreshments/comfort break.
From Watts Gallery the route returns via the back of the Loseley estate to Millmead lock along the Wey Navigation. 7 miles (4 hours).
Please note:
- Meet at Dapdune Wharf GU1 4RR. Parking is available
- Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and bring a packed lunch, or buy at Watts Gallery.
