Storytelling with Santa
This festive season, join us on an adventure to find Santa in his hidden storybook nook for a cosy Christmas tale, an early gift and a chance to take a photo with the man himself! Pre-book your tickets here. Normal property entry charges apply.
Santa is stopping at Kingston Lacy this festive season! Make memories, start traditions and come on a fantastical journey with his helpers to find the storybook nook, before settling in for a festive tale, an early Christmas gift and a chance to take a picture together with Santa!
We all know that Santa makes everyone’s dreams come true every Christmas, but it turns out that he once needed a little help to get into the festive spirit himself. One year, instead of letting Santa get straight back to work after he returned home to the North Pole on Christmas morning, his loyal elves and a cheeky polar bear wanted to make sure he experienced the same Christmas cheer he shares with the world. With the perfect tree, lots of delicious treats, and, of course, presents, hear the tale of Santa experiencing the magic of Christmas for the very first time.
The story is based on beloved children’s book, Santa's First Christmas by Mac Barnett and Sydney Smith and is brought to life with magical surprises and moments for everyone to take part.
Tickets £15.50 per child (0-12 years old). Each child ticket includes one accompanying adult
Ten additional accompanying adult tickets are available for each storytelling, £5 per ticket. This is only needed if you have more adults than children in your group.
Normal property entry charges apply.
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Bring your tickets to Visitor Reception to be directed to the storytelling location.
- We'll be nice and cosy once you're with Santa. We recommend dressing for the weather so you can enjoy the rest of your visit and the other experiences available on the day.

- Due to limited space, we ask that all pushchairs are left in the buggy park and bag store located at the side of the house.
- Suitable for children aged 0-12.
- The experience is a total of an hour, with a storytelling of around 30 minutes.
