Pumpkin carving
Have a go at carving a spooky pumpkin this half-term at Allan Bank.
Unleash your creative skills on one of the pumpkins for Halloween. We’ll prepare the pumpkins ready for you to get creative. All tools provided. Includes a tea light to take home with your pumpkin.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Check in at the visitor welcome desk in the house to pay for admission to the house, or to scan your National Trust membership card.
- Pumpkin can be a messy business! Please dress for the activity.
- Pedestrian access and limited Blue Badge vehicle parking only onsite.
- Please use public pay and display car parks in Grasmere village and allow plenty of time before the event to find parking and walk up the hill to Allan Bank (approx 10 min walk up slight hill). Visitors can be dropped at the gate.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- There will be sharp plastic tools for carving the pumpkin.
