Build your own bird box
Why not have a go at building your own bird box and make a home for birds?
Join us to make your own bird box to take home and encourage birds to your garden. All materials and tools are provided - £10 per box. Families welcome, but adult supervision is essential.
Please note:
- Check in at the Visitor Centre a few minutes before the start of the event.
- We'll be outside, but under cover, so warm clothes and boots are advisable if it's cold or wet.
- We will be using grassy areas and unsurfaced paths that may not be suitable for wheelchairs or certain pushchairs.
- Assistance dogs only.
- All ages welcome, but adults supervision is essential.
- No admission charge for non-members, but £3.20 car park charge applies. Members are asked to bring their membership cards for scanning.
