Bulb Mania - Winter Spring Series

Come and join a member of the Gardens Team on a tour which will look at seasonal highlights during winter and spring, including trees, flowering shrubs and bulbs.

The tours will cover many of the plants that are seasonally in flower to showcase the diversity of plants that we can grow at Mount Stewart. It will be packed with gardening tips and advice, and we will also be showcasing our bulb collection.
  
February’s focus will be on early daffodils, snowdrops and cyclamen planted around the West Terrace, some of the accessible areas of the Formal Gardens and the Lake Walk.

March’s focus will be on daffodils, crocus and lesser-known bulbs planted around the West Terrace, some of the accessible areas of the Formal Gardens and the Lake Walk.

April’s focus will be on the late flowering daffodils, alliums and tulips planted around the West Terrace, Mairi, Rose Garden and the Lake Walk.

Booking Essential. 

Normal Admission Applies, National Trust Members free.

Please note:

  • Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please come to reception on arrival.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate sturdy footwear.
  • The walk will be around accessible areas of the gardens and lake.  This walk is suitable for those with walking aids and wheelchairs. Buggies are welcome, as are well behaved dogs on a short lead.
  • Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
