Bulb Mania - Summer Series

Come and join a member of the Gardens Team on a tour which will look at seasonal highlights during summer, including trees, flowering shrubs and bulbs.

The tours will cover many of the plants that are seasonally in flower to showcase the diversity of plants that we can grow at Mount Stewart. It will be packed with gardening tips and advice, and we will also be showcasing our bulb collection.

June’s focus will be on our Lily collection and the flowering of the giant Himalayan lily (Cardiocrinum giganteum) as well as other summer flowering bulbs in the Formal Gardens and the Lily Wood.

July’s focus will be on our Lily collection and the flowering of the giant Himalayan lily (Cardiocrinum giganteum) as well as other summer flowering bulbs in the Formal Gardens and the Lily Wood.

August’s focus will be on our Lily and Himalayan Ginger collection and will focus on the Lily Wood, The House Terraces, and the Rose Garden.

Normal Admission Applies, National Trust Members free.

Please note:

  • Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please come to reception on arrival.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate, sturdy footwear.
  • The walk will be around accessible areas of the gardens and lake. This walk is suitable for those with walking aids and wheelchairs. Buggies are welcome, as are well behaved dogs on a short lead.
  • Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
