Bulb mania - Tropical and Exotics Series

Come and join a member of the Gardens Team on a tour of the garden looking at the seasonal highlights during autumn, including trees, flowering shrubs, and tropical plants.

The tours will cover many of the plants that are seasonally in flower to showcase the diversity of plants that we can grow at Mount Stewart and will be packed with gardening tips and advice on how to grow and care for tropical and exotic garden plants.

September’s focus will be on growing tropical and exotic plants in containers and in the garden and will include plants growing on the House Terraces and the Lily Wood.

October’s focus will be on growing tropical and exotic plants and how to overwinter them in containers and in the garden and will include plants growing on the House Terraces and the Lily Wood.

Normal Admission Applies, National Trust Members free.

Please note:

  • Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please come to reception on arrival.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate, sturdy footwear.
  • The walk will be around accessible areas of the gardens and Lake. This walk is suitable for those with walking aids and wheelchairs. Buggies are welcome, as are well behaved dogs on a short lead.
  • Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
