Christmas Clay Gonk Workshop
Learn how to make your very own clay Christmas gonk and Christmas decoration in our festive workshop.
Join us in the church at Benthall on this two hour festive workshop where our brilliant Benthall volunteer Elaine will teach you how to make a Christmas gonk and Christmas tree decoration from clay.
Hot drinks and seasonal treats will be provided.
Tickets £25 adult and £15 child.
The clay used is air dry clay which you can paint using acrylic paints at home, your gonk and decoration should be dry within 5 days (at room temperature). If you wish to add colours on the day, clay dyes will be available at the workshop.
Please note:
- Meet at Benthall Church.
- Arrive in time for workshop to begin at 11:00.
- The workshop takes place in St Bartholomew's Church at Benthall, it is not heated, so please wrap up warm, as if for an outdoor event.
- The church is less than 100 metres from the car park along a flat gravelled path. There is a step into the church but level access once inside.
- Toilets are located behind the hall. The Shepherds Shed will be closed but we will be supplying hot drinks and festive treats.
- Suitable for children aged 8 and above.
- Benthall House and Garden will be closed during this event.
