World Wetland Day: Guided Walk to Park End Moss
Clear the cobwebs with a winter walk to Park End wetland as we celebrate its 10th birthday.
On World Wetland Day join ranger Rob on a walk down to Park End Moss wetland, to find out how the area was transformed from degraded farmland into what's there today. Enjoy time in the hide with our bird expert and ranger Rob as he points out winter wildlife highlights and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
Please note: dogs aren't allowed at this event.
Please note:
- Meet at Brigsteer Wood car park (SD486 879).
- Please bring waterproof clothing and wrap up warm as the bird hide can get cold. Sturdy walking boots are recommended.
- This is a walk through a woodland path with tree roots, rough terrain and inclines.
- Sorry, no dogs allowed.
