Volunteer Taster Sessions at Peckover House & Garden
Have you ever thought about volunteering at Peckover House and Garden? Our Visitor Experience team are hosting taster sessions for the new year.
The Peckover Team are holding taster sessions for people who are interested in Visitor Experience.
Do you have an interest in creating an inviting welcoming environment as a Welcome Host. Or perhaps an interest in playing a key role in sharing inspirational stories and curious facts as Room Guide?
If this sounds like you, our Visitor Experience Officer would like to invite you to join a taster session at Peckover to meet some of the team, have a tour of Peckover and have an informal chat. You'll also be able to ask questions about what the role entails too.
Please note:
- Please meet at the front door of the house 10 minutes before the session is due to start. Volunteer team leaders will meet you and take you to the session location in the house.
- The house can be chilly in the colder months, so layers are advised.
- There are several steps to get into the house and staircases to basement and upper floors.
- Not suitable for children.
