Gwav yn Cornwall - Winter in Cornwall

A seasonal evening of words and music in the spirit of winter.

Delia and Dave Brutherton and guest readers take you through winter in Cornwall with an evening of music, words and song, in both Cornish and English. From new settings of the Wassail to Jack Frost and traditional Cornish poetry.

Count House Cafe (not National Trust) will be open and serving a variety of drinks and snacks.

Please note:

  • Please meet at Botallack Count House.
  • Please bring a torch for the dimly lit areas between the car park and Count House.
  • There is ramped access to Botallack Count House, and accessible facilities on site. If you have any particular access needs, please call 01736 786934.
  • Doors open at 6pm and the performance starts at 6.30pm, finishing at 9.15 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the performance.
  • Please book a ticket to guarantee a seat.
  • There is plenty of parking available, charges apply (National Trust members are free).
