Winter bird walk at Newark Park
Join our Ranger team for a walk to observe some of the species that overwinter at Newark Park.
On Monday 4 December 2023, our Ranger team will be leading a guided walk to observe some of the birds that spend their winter at Newark Park, and learn some basic knowledge about them.
The house, tea pavilion and visitor reception will be closed, so please bring your own refreshments.
Please note:
- Please meet in the car park at 8.00am. The walk will begin at 8.10am and the route will follow one of the estate walks.
- Please wear clothing appropriate for the British countryside (walking boots, waterproof coat, extra layers for cold weather). You may also wish to bring binoculars.
- Please note that the walking route covers possible rough terrain, slopes, grass banks, roadside walking, gates, and stiles.
- Children welcome. Please be aware that the event involves walking and should be within their ability.
