Christmas at Shugborough | SEN Relaxed Sessions (pre-bookable)
This year the Mansion will be open for SEN relaxed sessions. These sessions will be quieter and more relaxed, especially designed for visitors who have sensory processing difficulties and may find visiting during regular opening hours overwhelming.
During these relaxed opening times visitor numbers will be reduced, and flashing lights/ noises will be minimised.
These sessions are pre-bookable to give you peace of mind, however if you would prefer a drop in sensory session please see the separate events listing.

- A small handling collection
- Discovery bags
- Ear Defenders
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on entry.
- Please head to the Mansion entrance on arrival.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather.
- Entrance to the Mansion is up a small amount of steps.
- Due to fire evacuation processes we are only able to welcome one visitor at a time who needs use of the Stair Climber, when booking please make us aware if you need to use the stair climber to enter the Mansion. For a full visual brief please head to our accessibility webpage.
