1. Gunby to Bratoft Archaeology Walk 17/05/25
Join us on a 4-mile archaeology walk to Bratoft Manor (the former home of the Massingberd family). This walk will take you to the wider estate and pass through the old medieval village of Gunby. You'll be visiting scenic parts of the estate and crossing over the dismantled railway line on your way to Bratoft.
2. Gunby Conservation Walk 17/05/2025 (10.05am start)
Join us on this conservation walk and explore the Gunby parkland and discover some conservation project areas on this walk. Discover the nature and wildlife that thrives at Gunby and explore the fish pond.
3. Gunby to Bratoft Social Walk 20/05/2025
Join us on a 4-mile 'social walk' and view to Bratoft Manor (the former home of the Massingberd family). This walk will take you to the wider estate and pass through the old medieval village of Gunby. Bring some friends or make new ones along the way on this friendly social walk.
4. Gunby to Bratoft Nature Walk 24/05/2025
Join us an explore the Gunby parkland and grounds on a four-mile nature-walk to the nearby village of Bratoft. Discover the nature and wildlife that thrives at Gunby and continue to the Medieval moated manor site, the former home of the Massingberd family on this linear walk.
5. Gunby Conservation Walk 27/05/2025
Join us on this conservation walk and explore the Gunby parkland. Discover some conservation project areas on this walk and the wildlife that thrives at Gunby and explore the fish pond.
Ticket sales for each walk will cease at 9pm on the day prior to each walk.
Please note:
- The walk is free and includes general admission to the gardens only.
- Please meet in the courtyard.
- Please arrive a little before the start time as there is a 400m walk along the driveway from the car park.
- Please wear sensible clothing and footwear for the weather and ground conditions. Please also bring water for the walk. Bottles may be filled in the tea-room prior to departure.
- The paths may be muddy and uneven. There are kissing gates on all the walks.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dogs on leads are welcome.
