Guided Walk - Valentine's Walk

Love is in the air! Join our guides on a relaxed walk around Clent Hills, where our guides share some interesting Valentine's stories along the way.

Whether you love nature, getting outside and stretching your legs or just enjoy good company and interesting stories, join our wonderful volunteer guides on a relaxed stroll with other walkers in a picturesque setting. 

Our knowledgeable guides will take you on a 5-mile walk (lasting around 3 hours), sharing fascinating insights into the local fauna and flora, as well as the history of Valentine’s Day through the centuries; including how it's celebrated today by different cultures around the world.

Please note:

  • Please meet at the Nimmings Wood car park for a 10am start. Usual parking charges apply (free for NT members).
  • This event is outside so dress appropriately for the weather e.g. raincoat, hat. Wear sturdy footwear like walking boots as the routes can be steep and muddy. Bring water and a snack.
  • The route includes walking up and down steep hills and climbing over fences and stiles. The walk is approximately 5 miles and takes around 3 hours.
  • Not suitable for very young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
