Trust10 Trails: Free Sunday Guided Run from Edale
Explore 10km of guided trails in the heart of the Peak District. Led by our Leader in Running Fitness with extensive knowledge of the National Trust's conservation work and wider landscape.
Join us in Edale on the last Sunday of each month for a morning 10k trail run. Trails will be decided by the runner's experience on the day, ensuring no month will be quite the same. Runners with no previous trail running experience are welcome, as long as they can run 10km and bring the enthusiasm to tackle some steep and uneven terrain.
Bring running trainers with a good grip and a waterproof jacket.
Your guide is a qualified Leader in Running Fitness specialising in trail running. There will be breaks to discuss the National Trust's conservation work in the Peak District, local history and folklore!
Please only book if you are certain you can make this event as capacity is limited.
Please note:
- Please meet at the Penny Pot Café by Edale railway station.
- It is essential to wear running shoes with good grip and a waterproof jacket no matter the weather.
- It may be essential to bring water and sunscreen in hot weather.
- The run is not suitable for pushchairs, prams or dogs.
- Please arrive by 08:50 to leave promptly at 09:00.
- The event may be cancelled in the unlikely event of extreme weather.
