Gentle Stroll: Whatever the Weather

Don't let unpredictable weather stop you from enjoying those first signs of Spring!

Bulbs, buds and birds - mid-February is the perfect time to spot the signs of sunnier, longer and warmer days ahead! We can't promise good weather, but we can promise feel-good moments and fresh air with like-minded souls. 

The route will take you on a circular route to Chute Wood, offering different landscapes and habitats for all ages and abilities to enjoy.  

Adult tickets are £4, children £2. Under 5s go free (no ticket required). Normal car parking charges apply. Please book ahead as there will be limited availability on the day. 

Afterwards, View Café will be open for you to warm up and purchase a comforting brew.

Please note:

  • Please meet the group at the visitor centre to begin the stroll.
  • Please wear suitable footwear and clothing as it could get very muddy.
  • The route is accessible for mobility vehicles and pushchairs.
  • Children are welcome.
  • Well behaved dogs welcome on leads.
