Dear Future: I Leave This Place For You - 25 September - Clumber Park
Unfortunately, this event has now reached booking capacity. If you would like to join our waiting list and be contacted if spaces become available, please click here to fill in our waiting list form.
Without gifts in wills, we couldn’t look after the extraordinary places in our care. This event will take you behind the scenes to see how your support helps us carry out crucial conservation work daily, and how a gift in your will could safeguard the future of our special places.
Join us in The Parsonage at Clumber Park for a special day with our team, learning how we care for this magnificent ducal estate, the former seat of the Dukes of Newcastle. Explore this land, carved from ancient Sherwood Forest, of parkland, heath, and woods. Together we will discover the landscape, the 'cathedral in miniature,' and follow the ducal footsteps through the Pleasure Grounds to the walled kitchen garden, where the longest Glasshouse in the National Trust was recently restored by a gift in a will.
Please note:
- Head to the Courtyard and staff will be available to guide you to The Parsonage. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the Main car park. The accessible car park is closer.
- Flat, comfortable shoes and a jacket for the walking tour are recommended. Part of the tour will be outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
- The site has areas which may be uneven in places, including inclines and steps. Please let us know when booking if you have accessibility requirements. If you would like to discuss your accessibility requirements in more detail, please phone the events team on 01793 817699.
- For a digital guide on disabled access at Clumber Park, visit https://www.accessable.co.uk/national-trust/clumber-park-national-trust.
- Only suitable for adults.
- Food and drinks prepared in our kitchens are made using a wide range of ingredients. Whilst we do our very best, we can’t guarantee that any of our products are totally allergen free.
- If you require more information about ingredients or allergens for an event, please contact legacyevents@nationaltrust.org.uk or call the Gifts in Wills Team on 01793 817699.
