Snowdrops tour and breakfast at Chirk Castle

Experience a winter to remember with our Snowdrop event at Chirk Castle. Embrace the season and join us for a delicious, Full English breakfast and regular hot drink in the Tea Room starting at 9.15am before heading outside at around 10am for a snowdrop tour to learn all about these beautiful plants. The tour, which will take you into Pleasure Ground Wood, will be expertly guided by David Lock, former head gardener at Chirk Castle for over 40 years. You will be asked to inform us of any dietary requirements during the booking process. 

We cannot guarantee parties who book separately will be sat together.

Please note:

  • Arrive at the Tea Room from 9am for breakfast at 9.15am. At approximately 10am the snowdrops tour will begin from the courtyard.
  • Dress according to the weather and wear sensible footwear suitable for muddy conditions.
  • Paths in the Pleasure Ground Wood can be uneven with mild to moderate gradients. Formal garden is wheelchair accessible.
  • Recommended age 10+
