Dartford Warbler walk
Join us for a ranger-led walk in search of the elusive Dartford warbler!
Despite living in an open habitat, the Dartford warbler is surprisingly hard to spot. Join one of our rangers on a 90-minute walk in search of one and get expert knowledge on how we look after this precious lowland heath. It's a great chance to spot a variety of other wildlife, too!
Please note:
- Parking fee not included in ticket price. Non-members, please purchase a parking ticket on arrival. Members, scan your cards.
- Please meet at Heath Barn, opposite the Coastguard Cottages.
- Please dress suitably for the weather conditions on the day. Sturdy footwear is also advisable as some paths are uneven. If you have your own binoculars please do bring them along!
- Accessible to all, but please note that this outdoor activity will take place on mixed terrain. An off-road mobility scooter is available to hire, but please book this in advance.
- Older children welcome.
